Romantic-drama Virgin River is expected to return for season 4 this year. The show follows the story of nurse Melinda Monroe, who moves to Northern California, seeking a fresh start. The show's cast includes actors Alexandra Breckenridge as Mel, along with Martin Henderson, Annette O'Toole and Tim Matheson in prominent roles.

Reports suggest that Virgin River is expected to return with its fourth season sometime around the second or third quarter of 2022. While the end of its third season ended with many cliffhangers including the fates of several characters, the show's producer Sue Tenney reportedly confirmed that the lead characters Mel and Jack will eventually get married, however, there is no clarity on whether this development will take place in season 4 or not. Right now, all we can do is speculate over season 4 of Virgin River, but fans shouldn't just settle for speculations.

- Martin Henderson, who plays the role of Jack on the show, had been featured in Britney Spears' 2003 song video Toxic in which he plays the cheating boyfriend.

- While Virgin River is set in Northern California, the show is actually shot in Vancouver, Canada.
