Vicky Kaushal Katrina Kaif Wedding Reception: Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, who got married in a high-profile yet secretive wedding in Rajasthan recently, are all set to host a reception for the Bollywood fraternity. The Kaushal-Kaif wedding was an intimate affair and was attended by only a handful of Bollywood celebrities, along with friends and family. As expected, the couple will soon be hosting a wedding party for their colleagues and associates from the Hindi film industry.

The couple is reportedly scheduled to organise a reception party for their Bollywood friends on December 20 at the JW Marriott in Mumbai. Reports suggest that the couple decided on this date for a post-wedding celebration as they wanted to host the guests before they resumed their daily schedule for film shoots.

Reportedly, the reception of the newly-weds will have many celebrity guests including Kaif's rumoured exes Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Apart from them prominent actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan to have been reportedly invited for the reception.

Although, as the number of coronavirus cases in the city rises, the safety arrangement has not left the couple's mind. Recently, the Maharashtra Government announced the implementation of Section 144 and a ban on social gatherings for two days. Yesterday, the State government extended the implementation of Section 144 till the New Year's eve as the city grapples with a spike in COVID-19 numbers and fear of Omicron cases.

Omicron is the new strain of coronavirus, which was first identified by scientists in South Africa. Since then, the number of Omicron cases across the globe is rising and the World Health Organisation has termed it as Variant of Concern.

Reportedly, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal will keep in mind the COVID-19 protocols and every guest will have to test negative in their RT PCR test and only then will they be admitted to the venue.

The couple had similar rules for their destination wedding too. They got married at Six Senses Fort at Barwara in Rajasthan on December 9.  The couple reportedly went for a honeymoon at an undisclosed location before moving into their new house, which is next to Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's house in Mumbai.
