Twitter Loved Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza's 'Ved'

The Marathi film Ved was released in theatres on today and the audience was hopeful of another project of one of the most loved Bollywood couples, Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza. The first few reactions from the Twitter audience speak positively of the film.

Inspired by the 2019 Telugu film Majili, Ved is produced by Genelia D'Souza and Ritesh Deshmukh debuts as a director with this film. The story of the film is about a former cricketer who depends on his wife financially and spends his day and night drinking and smoking, missing his ex-girlfriend whom he loved very much. He neglects the selfless love of his wife who supports him despite everything. However, there is a limit to which she can bear the heartbreak. The movie shows how they overcome the challenges in their relationship.

The movie starring Jiya Shankar, Ashok Saraf and Shubhankar Tawde in important roles was praised by actors and other Bollywood celebrities like Madhuri Dixit, Kichcha Sudeep, Aftab Shivdasani and Saiyami Kher. The audience loved the movie and the performance of the actors in the film.
