Varun Bangera-Karishma Tanna To Get Married On February 5, Know More About The Groom

Businessman Varun Bangera and television actor Karishma Tanna are soon going to tie the knot. The two have been dating for a while and reportedly got engaged last year in November. The count down to the wedding has begun with the couple taking part in pre-wedding rituals like the Haldi ceremony on Thursday.

Tanna posted a couple of pictures and a video of the pre-wedding ceremonies on her Instagram feed. She was wearing an all-white attire and the two were laughing or throwing marigold petals at each other in the pictures. "Happiness galore, the smile says it all," wrote Tanna on the occasion of Haldi. The two got engaged in November last year. The news of their engagement was confirmed by Ekta Kapoor, who posted an Instagram story, wishing the two an "awesome future."

Tanna made her television debut in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and went on to act in shows like Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam, Adaalat, amongst other serials. She has also been part of reality shows like Bigg Boss 8, Nach Baliye 7, amongst others.

Bangera is a businessman from Mumbai and has been in the news since his engagement to Tanna. Reportedly, he works with VB Corp and has been with the company since 2010. According to his Linkedin profile, he is the director of a real estate company.

He had completed his education at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. He has studied International Bussiness, Bussiness Administration and Management from a foreign university.

He started his career with Cushman and Wakefield in 2008. He was with them under marketing and investment profile. Later, he became the Managing Director at Pecan Partners, which provides consulting solutions and business development. Currently, he is the Director at VB Corp which provides luxury real estate solutions.

Bangera's Instagram profile has more than 400 followers but he has kept it private. According to reports Tanna and he first met through a mutual friend.

The Pinkvilla reported that a source said, "They have planned all their functions keeping the Covid protocols in mind. Today's Haldi event will be with extremely close friends in attendance. This will be followed by Mehendi tomorrow (today) where both bride and the groom's side will be present to celebrate the union, but that too with limited guests."
