Varsha Bollamma wiki bio: Southern actor Varsha Bollamma, known for her performances in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films, will be next seen in upcoming film Stand Up Rahul. Directed by debutant Santo Mohan Veeranki, the film is a coming-of-age feel-good romantic comedy.

Produced by Nandkumar Abbineni and Bharath Maguluri, under the banners of Dream Town Productions and HighFive Pictures, the film is about a reluctant stand-up comedian who doesn't stand up for anything in life. The story of the film revolves around him finding true love and learning to stand up for his parents, his love, and his passion for stand-up comedy. In the film, Bollamma plays an atypical funny person named Sreya Rao.

If you watch regional films, You may recognize Bollamma for her 2020 Telugu release Middle Class Melodies, in which she featured alongside Vijay Deverakonda's younger brother Anand.

Born in Coorg, Karnataka, Bollamma made her debut in 2015 with the Tamil Film Sathuran. She has also worked in films like Yaanum Theeyavan, Kalyanam, 96 and Seemathurai. Bollamma finished her graduation in Microbiology from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore and is fluent in three languages including Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam, and has also learnt to speak Telugu.

She initially gained popularity for Dubsmash videos of Nazriya Nazim's (who is an actor in the Tamil and Malayalam industry) dialogue in the 2013 Tamil film Raja Rani. In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Bollamma said that she woke up the morning after posting the video to find that it had already crossed 15,000 views and was going viral On Facebook. Very soon, her Instagram videos were also being compiled by fans and were being shared on WhatsApp.

She added that everyone thought that she was Nazim's doppelganger as people say that she bears a striking resemblance to Nazim. However, Bollamma said that she doesn't see her resemblance with Nazim. She added that the comparison annoyed her, but everyone was being overwhelmingly sweet, so she learnt to embrace it.
