Uunchai is an upcoming movie starring Parineeti Chopra along with Amitabh Bachchan, Sarika, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. The movie will soon be released in theatres so here's all you must know about it.

Uunchai is an adventure drama film directed is Sooraj Barjatya and is produced under the banner of Rajshri Productions. The film will be the production house's 60th film which is famous for iconic and family-oriented films like Hum Saath Saath Hain and Vivah, Maine Pyaar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. The movie will focus on the story of three best friends who decide to trek to the Everest Base Camp to fulfil the last wish of their fourth friend.

Uunchai Plot, Cast and Release Date

The ">trailer of the film showed four best friends, Amit Shrivastav, Om Sharma, Bhupen and Javed Siddiqui, in their senior citizen phase of life. They have been friends since childhood and have been with each other through thick and thin. They celebrate everything together with full enthusiasm and zeal. Bhupen has always had a dream of climbing to the Everest Base Camp with his best friends and expresses this wish on his every birthday. The three friends oppose this wish claiming that their age is not appropriate to trek in such harsh weather.

However, Bhupen passes away before he could fulfil this wish with his friends, saddening the three of them. Being his only family, the three cremate him and decide to take his ashes where his heart belonged, Everest. The three sign up for a trekking program at Everest Base Camp and the story is about their journey on this dangerous trek for the love of their friend. The movie shows how the friends defy their age and physical limitations to achieve spiritual freedom and satisfaction.

The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan as Amit Shrivastav, Danny Denzongpa as Bhupen, Boman Irani as Javed Siddiqui and Anupam Kher as Om Sharma. Parineeti Chopra plays their trek guide Shraddha Gupta while Neena Gupta and Sarika play Shabina Siddiqui and Mala Trivedi respectively. The movie releases in theatres on November 11, 2022.
