Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen starring in a political thriller titled Ulajh the shooting for which is all set to begin. The film promises a solid start cast including Gulshan Devaiah, Meiyang Chang, Roshan Mathew and Sachin Khedekar.
Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Mimi and her performance in the movie was appreciated by the audience. The Dhadak actor has now taken up a new project, a political thriller in which she will play the serious role of an Indian Foreign Services officer in the centre of the power play in diplomacy.
The movie is a Junglee Films production that released posters of the lead cast of the movie which includes Roshan Mathew, Sachin Khedekar, Gulshan Devaiah, Rajesh Tailang, Jitendra Joshi, Rajendra Gupta and Meiyang Chang. Gulshan Devaiah was recently seen playing a pivotal role along with Sonakshi Sinha in the web series Dahaad. The cast of the movie looks promising and the audience is looking forward to the movie.

Political thrillers are one of the audience's favourite genres and Ulajh is one hopeful movie. The story is penned by Sudhanshu Saria and Parveez Sheikh while Atika Chohan wrote the dialogues for the film. The Sudhanshu Saria directorial will be set in the backdrop of international diplomacy that harbours dark secrets. The movie focuses on a young IFS officer, played by Kapoor, who hails from a famous patriotic family and finds herself in the middle of a risky conspiracy that will define her future as well as the country's situation ahead.
Talking about her new project, Janhvi Kapoor reportedly said that she accepted the role as soon as she read the script. She wanted to get out of her comfort zone and is excited to see how the audience felt about her new venture. She said her character in the film has many layers and conflicting emotions that will create thrill and challenges for her as well as the audience to witness.
The movie will go under production by the end of May 2023 but the expected release date has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for more.
