Twitter tribute To Dilip Kumar: Veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away at the age of 98 on the morning of Wednesday, July 7 after battling prolonged illness. The actor was admitted to an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of Hinduja Hospital in a non-COVID facility on Tuesday.
Through the Twitter handle of the actor, Faisal Farooqui, a family friend, tweeted the news of his demise, writing, "With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to him, we return. (sic)"
After the news of the actor's death, the hashtag "RIP Sir", "Rest In Peace", and "Dilip Kumar" started trending on Twitter as several people flooded social media with tributes for the late actor.
