Trial By Fire series, directed by Prashant Nair based on a book by Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy released. The series is set to be the chronicles of the lives of the various victims of the Uphaar Cinema Tragedy. The authors themselves lost their two children in the fire and have been fighting the legal battle against the accused, tycoons Gopal and Sushil Ansal, owners of the cinema hall.

Netflix series features Abhay Deol and Rajshri Deshpande in lead roles, the central idea of the series is the tragic incident of 1997 that shook the country. It shows how the families of the victims who lost their lives battled for a very long time to get justice. The remarkable actors in the film are Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajesh Tailang, Ratna Pathak, Anupam Kher, Shardul Bharadwaj and Shilpa Shukla.
