The Umbrella Acadamy is all set to come out with its highly anticipated season 3 this year. The show's main social media page recently revealed the first look of the new season, sharing multiple posters with each character of the show holding an umbrella, with their back to the camera. The reveal was done to mark three years since the show's premiere in 2019.
The filming of season three ended in August 2021 and since then a lot of fans are wondering when will be the series be ready for a grand comeback on Netflix. The confirmation of the shoot being over came from creator Steve Blackman's Instagram post. In the post, he also thanked the crew members and announce that the shooting for awaited season three is over.
To people, who have not watched the show or need a little revision, The Umbrella Academy revolves around a dysfunctional family of adopted sibling superheroes. They reunite to solve the mystery of their father's death and the approaching threat of an apocalypse.

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 Release Date: Everything To Know
A snippet of what season three is going to be about was shared by Tom Hooper, who plays Luther in the show, last year in June. "This season is really taking it up a notch If anyone has seen the end of season two, they can probably guess where things are going, and that's very exciting dynamic that happens in the third season."
The plot of season 3 has not been revealed officially but from what we know, the next set of episodes will take place at Hotel Oblivion, which is also the name of the third Umbrella Academy comic book by Gerard Way.
The show titles of season three are expected to be- Meet The Family, World's Biggest Ball Of Twine, Pocket Full Of Lightning, Kugelbiltz, Kindest Cut, Marigold, Auf Wiedersehen, Wedding At The End Of The World, Six Bells and Oblivion.
The cast will include Justin H Min, David Castaneda, Emmy River-Lampman, Elliot Page, Aidan Gallagher, Ritu Arya, Britne Oldford, amongst many others.
The show is currently in post-production and going by the fans math along with the franchise's announcement on Twitter, one can expect the date of release to be soon enough in this year. However, no such commitment has been made either by the show or the platform which will be airing it.
