Television Actor Chaithra Rai Gets Blessed With Baby Girl

Television actor Chaithra Rai took to her official Instagram account on August 16 to reveal that she and her husband Prasanna Shetty are now parents to a baby girl. "It’s an emotion never felt before," the actor wrote.

The Instagram post shows Rai holding a placard in her hand that read, "it's a girl." The actor was seen in a pink gown. She wrote, "God has blessed us with a precious Baby Girl this afternoon. It’s an emotion never felt before."

The actor added, "@prasannashetty17 and I along with our families are absolutely overjoyed. Thank you for countless blessings for our little bundle of joy."

The post garnered more than 23,000 likes in less than four hours of being uploaded.

Rai's fans took to the comment section to congratulate the couple. Prominent figures including Sushma Kiran, Vishnupriya, Akarsh Byramudi, among others also conveyed their best wishes to the couple.

"Congratulations queen for the arrival of the little princess," one of the fans wrote.

Rai is currently married to Shetty, an engineer and lives with him in Mangalore, Karnataka.

She took to her social media on multiple occasions to share her journey as a mother, flaunting her baby bump. Recently, she was seen matching steps to the Shreya Ghoshal and A R Rahman song Param Sundari from the movie Mimi. She captioned the same as, "My version of #paramsundari."

Rai, who holds more than 390,000 followers currently, shares reels and posts often and is very active on her social media.
