Ayushmann Khurrana Wishes Tahira Kashyap On Birthday, Promises To Sing Soon For Her

Tahira Kashyap birthday: Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana took to Instagram to share a video along with a romantic note for wife Tahira Kashyap who turned 39 today. The video is a montage comprising several pictures including moments from their wedding, vacations and their cycling sessions.

"Happy birthday @tahirakashyap! This was the first song I’d sung for you sitting at the staircase of Sukhna lake in the winters of 2001. Kaafi din se gaana nahi gaaya aapke liye. I need to do that soon. Don’t miss me now. Ok. Umm.. ❤️", reads the caption of the post. The song Bade Acche Lagte Hai plays in the background. The post has got 507k likes so far.

Bollywood actor Sonali Bendre commented on the post and wished her on her birthday. Actor Prachi Shah also wished her.

Ayushmann Khurrana Tahira Kashyap love story

They were in the same tuition in class 12th in Chandigarh at that time. Tahira and her friend had a crush on Ayushmann at that time and Khurrana was elated to know that because he didn't consider himself to very good looking.

They met once again through their parents as they too were friends. They ended up spending the night together and got really close. Tahira was impressed with his charm, wit and the songs he sang. The friendship turned into a relationship soon.

Both of them pursued a master’s degree in Mass Communication but got admitted in different colleges but were together all this while. In fact, they would represent their respective colleges by participating in various debate and dramatics competitions.

After college got over, they wanted to get married but were not sure of their careers. Ayushmann, on the other hand, wanted to become an actor which disappointed Tahira who wasn't sure if her parents would let her marry a boy struggling to make it big in Bollywood but they married in 2008.

In an interview, Ayushmann Khurrana confessed that Tahira was far more successful than him. In fact, he didn’t have any money when he got married to her. She, on the other hand, was doing very well in her career. She was a professor, had her PR firm in Chandigarh and was also the programming head of a radio station in Punjab. Tahira didn't let that come into the way of her relationship as she loved her and had immense faith in his talent.
