Pannu and Dhillon had previously collaborated in Manmarziyaan where she played the role of Rumi. Stepping into the world of #HaseenDillruba. Can’t wait for you guys to meet HER in theatres.”
Producer Rai had previously said in a statement that Haseen Dillruba is a murder mystery within a twisted love story that will engage the audience with its edgy script. He had stated that this genre has not been explored before in the industry.
Last year, the Pink actor had shared a picture from her last day on the sets of the film along with a note in which she dropped a few hints about her character Rani Kashyap. She had called her character a “self obsessed borderline narcissist” and wrote, “Here’s to getting ‘pulp fiction’ back on screen with the character you either love to hate or hate to love coz basic toh hum vaise bhi kuch karte nahi hai na.”
This year, Pannu has a series of films lined up for release namely Rashmi Rocket, Shabaash Mithu and Looop Lapeta.
