Taapsee Pannu And Mathias Boe: Here's What You Should Know About The Couple

Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe, who have been dating for quite some time now, have kept their relationship largely under wraps but don't shy away from extending support to each other on social media. Following the recent income tax raids at Pannu's house, her badminton champ boyfriend has opened up on the "unnecessary stress" the entire event has caused her parents.

Update: The Indian men’s badminton team coached by Mathias Boe won over 14-time champions Indonesia 3-0 in the final on May 15 to win their maiden Thomas Cup title. Taapsee Pannu took to Twitter and congratulated the team. Later, she shared a picture on Instagram of India’s badminton doubles coach Mathias Boe. Pannu, who is reportedly dating Mathias, wrote on the picture, “Mr. Coach, you made us proud.” Mathias also shared his team’s picture on Instagram with a caption that read, “What a performance, what a team. Thomas Cup gold.”

On Thursday, Boe who is coaching Indian players currently wrote, "I-T department is raiding Taapsee’s houses back home, putting unnecessary stress on her family, especially her parents." He further requested Union Minister for sports Kiren Rijiju to "do something" in the matter.

On Wednesday, the income tax department carried out raids at the residences of actor Pannu and filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Bahl. IT authorities said an irregularity of Rs 5 crore was found in Pannu's funds. More here.

1. Rumours of Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe dating had been going around for some time. Addressing this, Pannu last year May said, "I don’t want to hide anything from anyone. I’m very proud to accept the presence of someone in my life. But yes, at the same time, I wouldn’t only talk about it for the headlines because then it takes away from my credibility as an actor."

2. Amid speculation, Boe posted a heartwarming birthday wish for Pannu last August, writing, "Happy birthday you crazy little creature, damn we r getting old fast, especially u 🙈💃🏼😜. Can’t believe how lucky I’m that I found someone who don’t find me too annoying and (sometimes) laugh at my lame jokes. I will try my hardest to keep u smiling ❤️👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏼 @taapsee."

3. Further on, in October, Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe appeared to confirm their relationship in pictures from the Maldives. A photo posted by Boe, featuring both of them, had gone massively viral on the internet, since it was apparently the first they had been spotted on a vacation. It was only later than netizens realised Boe was the man in the Pannu sisters' famous Biggini Shoot video.

4. The couple last month in February was spotted out on a date night, as seen on Boe's Instagram stories. Pannu has also been previously spotted at Boe's matches. Boe is a Danish former badminton player who won gold at the 2015 European Games and silver at the Summer Olympics 2012. He is currently representing Indian players as coach for the first time.

5. Though Pannu hasn't openly admitted to dating Boe or revealed how she met him, her sister Shagun in 2019 took credit for introducing them saying, "Taapsee must thank me because it was because of me that she met him.”
