After 25 years of marriage, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin have decided to separate. After admirers spotted some unusual social media activity from Flavin, breakup rumours had been circulating for weeks. This morning, the 54-year-old model revealed that she had filed for a divorce from the 76-year-old actor.

After 25 years of marriage, American model Jennifer Flavin announced in a statement that she had filed for divorce from Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone. She stated, "Even if we aren't married anymore, I will always be grateful for our more than a 30-year relationship because I know we both have our beautiful daughters' best interests at heart." Meanwhile, Stallone said through a spokesperson, "I love my family. Peacefully and privately, we are resolving our personal issues." The couple has already split up once before.

Stallone met model Flavin when he was at the peak of his fame in Hollywood. In 1988, Stallone and Flavin first met at a restaurant in Beverly Hills, California. Stallone was about 46 and Flavin was about 20 at that time. Despite having a 23-year age difference, the two found a connection and started dating soon after.

Between 1988 and 1994, the pair had an on-and-off kind of relationship. In 1994, Stallone broke up with Flavin in a six-page handwritten letter that was sent by FedEx. The letter has been called "sloppy" by Flavin. Apparently, Stallone had a relationship with model Janice Dickinson, who in February 1994 gave birth to a girl he thought was his. DNA tests revealed that Stallone was not Dickinson's daughter's father, ending their relationship. A year later, Flavin and Stallone came together in 1995.

Stallone has been married three times, with Flavin being his third wife. He has been engaged five times, with Flavin being his fifth and last engagement. On May 17, 1997, they had a civil wedding at The Dorchester Hotel in London. Soon after, they had a chapel wedding at Oxfordshire's Blenheim Palace.
