The actor shared a lovely video, a montage of the couple’s adorable moments while narrating their love story. The actor shared that she and Fahad Ahmad had a simple court wedding on January 6, 2023, under the Special Marriage Act.
According to latest updates, Swara Bhasker released engagement photos with Fahad Ahmad. The actor also flaunted her engagement ring and mehendi on her Instagram page. Meeting at protests, discussing each other's tweets, and adopting a cat together, brought the couple closer. The finally decided to tie the knot last month and announced it to the public on Thursday. The actor also shared some photos from her register marriage last month on her social media handle.
Swara Bhasker is known for speaking her heart out and expressing her opinion. Fahad Ahmad is the president of the Samajwadi Party Youth Wing of the Maharashtra Unit, according to his Twitter bio. Towards the end of the video that the actor shared, she gave a glimpse of their court wedding at the registrar office, which happened in the presence of her parents.

Reacting to the news, actors Sayani Gupta, Manvi Gagroo, Richa Chadha, and Shruti Seth congratulated the couple of the comment section. The actor also hinted at having marriage plans in March 2023 with a tweet that read, "Confessions of a bride-to-be/new bride! We still have a full set of wedding celebrations to plan. Can't decide how frugal I'm going to be!
Earlier in January, the actor took her fans by surprise with a post of hers. She had posted a photo of her head resting comfortably against someone’s arm. Sharing the photo where the mystery man’s arm was wrapped around her, Bhasker’s caption read, "This could be love."
On the work front, the actor will be next seen in Mrs. Falani. She announced the news on social media in early January.
