Swara Bhasker house: On Thursday, actor Swara Bhasker shared pictures from the housewarming ceremony of her renovated home. Bhasker had previously revealed that she hadn't stayed there since 2019. It is after two and a half years that Bhasker shifted back to her house when the renovation work finished.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Veere Di Wedding actor Swara Bhasker shared photographs from the housewarming ceremony of her home. Since it's her old house that underwent a makeover recently, she called it her 'new old house'. Posting the pictures, she wrote, "The Gods have approved!" and used the hashtags 'Griha Pravesh', 'new old house' and 'New Beginnings'. In another tweet, she wrote, "Feeling pious!"

In July this year, Bhasker had shared with her followers that she was moving back to her renovated house. She further added that the book shelf was her favourite spot in the house. Her tweet read, "Moving back to my new 'old house'.. Obviously the first thing to be unpacked & set up are my books in this wall to wall bookshelf- already my favourite spot in the house. Here's a peak at what all literature, philosophy, non fiction & self help I’ve got on my reading list!"

The same month, Bhasker tweeted that she returned home after two and a half years. She then went on to say that the first night in her own house felt gratifying and blessed. The Nil Battey Sannata actor also drew her follower's attention to the fact that everything around us has changed because of the pandemic and loss. Yet there is so much to be grateful for and cherish.

Swara Bhasker was recently trolled for comparing the situation in Afghanistan due to takeover by the Taliban with that in India. "We can’t be okay with Hindutva terror & be all shocked & devastated at Taliban terror.. & We can’t be chill with #Taliban terror; and then be all indignant about #Hindutva terror! Our humanitarian & ethical values should not be based on identity of the oppressor or oppressed," she tweeted. The actor was not only trolled on the social nedtworking platform, many even accused her of "hurting religious sentiments". On work front, Swara Bhasker will be seen in the role of a cop in her upcoming movie Mimamsa, a murder mystery directed by Gagan Puri. She will also feature in the film Jahaan Chaar Yaar alongside Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij and Pooja Chopra.
