Renee Sen praises mother for Aarya: The Suttabaazi actor said in an interview that she is looking forward to working with her mother as she is highly impressed with her performance in the Disney Plus Hotstar series Arya.
In a conversation with ETimes, Renee said that her relationship with her mother has changed now that they are in the same field.
"I would love to work with her. Why not! It excites me. We have spoken about it so many times at home. But I also know that to reach where she is, will take me a lot of time," she said.
The 21-year-old actor also heaped praise on Sushmita Sen’s performance in the Disney Plus Hotstar web series Aarya and termed the same as 'spellbound'. "I told her I want to work with her," she added, "but I have to work a lot on myself to get to where she is."
Renee further mentioned that she would love to appear in either a love story or an action film with the 1994's Femina Miss India and Miss Universe.
In the same interview, Renee extended her compliments for her mother and disclosed how happy her childhood was because of her. The Main Hoon Na actor offered her daughters a personal space, at the same time values discipline. A report quoted Sen saying that Sushmita doesn't pressurise her children in any way and motivates them.
In a previous interview with NDTV, Renee said that she was aware of her privileges of being a celebrity child. Mentioning that many come to Mumbai to become actors, she said that being Sushmita Sen's daughter has been "the biggest privilege". She added, "So, the biggest disservice I will do if I am dishonest to my work."
Sen is a single mother to daughter Renee and daughter Alisah who joined the family in 2000 and 2010 respectively. Sen has also been dating model Rohman Shawl for about 3 years now.
