Sushmita Sen’s Daughter Renee Pays Tribute To Actor On Her Birthday

Model and actor Sushmita Sen turned 47 today, on November 19 and to mark the former Miss Universe’s birthday, her daughter Renee took to social media to share a heartfelt note.

Sen’s adopted daughter shared a picture of the first Indian Miss Universe and wished her “lifeline” a happy birthday.

23-year-old Renee wrote that her mother was entering the “best phase” of her life and thanked her. She wrote, “You have the biggest and most forgiving heart… to be your daughter is God’s greatest blessing”.

Sen’s eldest daughter added, “You have created a legacy that is unmatched and I am so lucky I am witness to that everyday… whatever you touch turns to gold.” Renee said that the Aarya star does everything with “so much love, dedication and hard work”.

Sushmita Sen’s daughter continued to thank her in the heartfelt note and wrote, “thank you for knowing my worth and reminding me of what I’m capable of whenever I feel any sense of doubt”.

Renee signed off with, “most importantly, thank you making Alisah and I strong, independent women who live life on their own terms! I love you infinity Maa!!! Welcome to your 47th!!!”

The model and actor responded to the heartfelt note and wrote, “I love you Shona Maa!!! It’s always been my privilege!!! I thank God for you both!!!”

Sen had also taken to social media to celebrate her 47^th. In an Instagram post, she wrote that 47 was a number that had “consistently followed” her for 13 years.

The former Miss Universe was only 24 years old when she adopted her daughter Renee. Sen had previously described her as “My first love”.

Sen described adopting her daughters Renee and Alisah as the “wisest decision” she made. She told the publication The Indian Express that becoming a mother stabilised her life.

The mother-of-two said she was privileged to experience motherhood twice. She said, “I have never missed a day of feeling the joy of motherhood”.
