Have Sushmita Sen And Rohman Shawl Broken Up? Here's The Buzz

Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl have reportedly parted ways, if latest rumours are to be believed. Certain reports have emerged of the model duo breaking up after three years together. Sen, who recently returned to her starring role in web series Aarya's second season, is said to have "broken ties" with Shawl, with the latter having moved out of her place.

The couple has consistently been in headlines for their relationship, which they made public in 2018. Shawl being 15 years junior to Sen had raised eyebrows at the time but that didn't seem to bother the duo, which was active on social media posting romantic photos together.

Quoting a source, ETimes reported Thursday that Sen and Shawl are going through a breakup. The alleged separation has prompted Shawl to move out of Sen's residence, where he was staying with her and her two daughters, and into a friend's house.

This alleged breakup comes months following rumours of one early this year in February. At the time, 46-year-old Sen had shared an Instagram post about futile relationships, leading fans to wonder whether things had ended between her and Shawl. Days later, however, the two were spotted out and about in Mumbai, putting an end to the speculation.

Shawl apparently shared a good relationship with both Sen's daughters, Renee and Alisah, even saying in interviews that he was like a father to them. He said the four of them enjoyed time as a family and that he and Sen would not hide their plans if they decided on marriage.

Sen has been open about her relationship with Shawl, revealing in interviews the serendipitous story of how they met. Shawl, she said, had dropped her a direct message on Instagram and she accidentally opened it one day. The two got to talking and a relationship gradually developed. "I felt I had known him my whole life. It was that simple," Sen has said.

Neither Sen nor Shawl have yet made a public statement on the breakup rumours.
