Here's When You Can Start Streaming Abhay Deol, Avantika Vandanapu Starrer Spin

Spin Release Date: The release date of Spin, an upcoming English language movie featuring Avantika Vandanapu and Abhay Deol in the lead roles, was announced recently. The story follows a young Indian-American teen, Rhea who develops a passion for creating DJ mixes which blend the textures of the Indian heritage and the rest of the world.

Rhea comes from a family who owns an Indian restaurant. After the death of rhea's mother, the family grows closer however, things take an unpredicted turn when the young woman meets Max, an aspiring DJ. This chance encounter not only makes Rhea rediscover her love for music, but she also realises that she is gifted with a special talent. Will she be able to convince her family to let her follow her passion?

Sharing the teaser of the film on Instagram, Abhay Deol wrote, "SPIN” movie teaser! I got to play a #disneydad, maybe one day I’ll be a #disneyprince? HA! Cast and crew

Avantika Vandapanu will be leading Spin, playing the character of Rhea, while actor Abhay Deol will be seen in the role of her father. British-Indian actor Meera Syal will be seen in the role of Rhea's grandmother Asha. Aryan Simhadri will be playing the role of Rohan, Rhea's younger brother. The movie also features a bunch of American artistes- Michael Bishop plays the role of Max, while Anna Cathcart, Jahbril Cook and Kerri Medders will play the roles of rhea's friend Molly, Watson and Ginger respectively.

The movie is directed by Manjari Makijany and written by Carley Steiner and Josh Cagan.

Spin the movie release date

Spin will be releasing on Aug 13 for the viewers in the United States. In India, they can start streaming the film from Aug 15 on Disney+Hotstar.
