Here's The List Of Sony LIV And Voot May 2022 Releases

OTT platforms have gone to great lengths to entertain their audiences; not only is this good for the audience, but it also benefits filmmakers who make films in regional languages or with indigenous stories and then distribute them to mainstream audiences. Many films have recently had the opportunity to screen in front of a large audience, contributing to the growth of these cinemas and artists.

Sony LIV has come up with fresh new films and series for their viewers in the month of May. The list begins with a social comedy Marathi film about a couple who are pet parents. The list continues with a Tamil film that premiered in the Tiger Competition at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam and won the NETPAC award for Best Asian Film Premiering at the Festival.

Here's the list of Voot and Sony LIV may 2022 releases:

Pet Puraan

Pet Puraan is a Marathi original series set to premiere on May 6, 2022 on Sony LIV. The series is a lighthearted social comedy about pet parenting which will examine the unorthodox, far-from-perfect lives of an urban, liberal, married couple, Atul and Aditi, and their adopted pets, a cat named Baaku and a dog named Vyanku, set against a typical Maharashtrian backdrop. Sai Tamhankar and Lalit Prabhakar star in the show. Director Dnyanesh Zoting developed and wrote Pet Puraan, which is produced by Huge Productions' Ranjit Gugle.

Nasir

">Nasir is a Tamil film set to debut on May 6 on Sony LIV. The film depicts the life of a Coimbatore-based middle-class Muslim man. The plot revolves around the inequitable treatment he receives from society because of his religious beliefs. The majority of the film's plot revolves around a series of unforeseen events that occur later. Arun Karthick has directed the film, which features Valavane Koumarane, Sudha Ranganathan, and Sabari.

Puzhu

Puzhu is an upcoming Indian crime thriller film that stars Mammootty. It is directed by Ratheena PT, and Harshad, Sharfu, and Suhas collaborated on the script. It is scheduled to premiere in five languages: Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu on May 13, 2022 on Sony LIV.

Aadha Ishq

The series will have five episodes and stars Aamna Sharif, Gaurav Arora, Pratibha Ranta, and Kunal Roy Kapur. The story is set in Kashmir and Mussorie, where Rene finds herself falling in love with Saahir, a man with a troubled dating history with her mother, Roma. The series will be released on May 12 on Voot.
