Know More About Son Ye-Jin, The South Korean Actor Who Is To Marry Co-Actor Hyun Bin

The South Korean actor Son Ye-jin is all set to get married to the co-actor of the Korean drama Crash Landing On You Hyun Bin this year. The actor made an announcement to her social media followers and fans about her future plans. She shared the news with the picture of a small white wedding dress and a long note to her fans. The couple has been dating for a year now.

In the last show together, Crash Landing On You, they acted opposite each other. Ye-jin was a strong businesswoman, who gets stranded in North Korea because of an accident and Hyun Bin was one of the army people there who discovers her hanging from a tree after a paragliding accident. The two, whose personalities are opposite to each other in the show, land up together. The show was a political, romantic drama. It ran from December 2019 to February 2020.

The news of them being in a relationship was first disclosed by Dispatch Korea on January 1, 2021. Later the actor confirmed their relationship on Instagram. Since then the fans have been rooting for one of the favourite couples of the Korean dramas. Their show was not only popular in South Korea but grabbed eyeballs across the world.

Recently Ye-jin shared the post about her marriage on her social media feed, stating, "I thought long and hard about how to share this story because it's an important one. I found someone to spend the rest of my life with. Yes...it's him." She added, "Boy meet girl, recognises each other in the crowd, promises to build a future together...I couldn't imagine! It happened so naturally...But isn't that destiny?"

Talking about the beginning of their future, she said, "Just being with him, I feel warm and protected. Please help us celebrate the beginning of our future." Addressing the fans, she said that she had received their "unconditional" love and there is no way to replay that. However, she lets them know how grateful she is.

Born on January 11, 1982, Son Ye-jin is from Daegu in South Korea. In the year 2000, she enrolled in Seoul Art University but had to drop out shortly after that for her acting career. She is in her 30s and owns two buildings in the capital of South Korea, Seoul.

She has won awards like the Popular Star Award at the 40th Grand Bell Awards and 24th Blue Dragon Awards for her role in the Classic. In 2001, she won MBC Best New Actress Award for her role in the Delicious Proposal.
