Very soon ZEE5 will stream the Punjabi movie Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya, starring Sargun Mehta and Gurnam Bhullar. The romantic comedy-drama, which was produced by Ankit Vijan, Navdeep Narula, and Gurjit Singh, was released in theatres on July 8.
The title of the movie is taken from a well-known Punjabi folk song, and it centres on the romance between Bhullar and Mehta, two characters who aspire to marry one another. Read on to know more about the film.
Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya Plot
The central plot of Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya is the vengeful romance between Raja (Gurnam) and Rupi (Sargun). Raja somehow convinced his parents to talk to Rupi’s parents about marriage. But before it could happen, Rupi decided to marry another man since she thought it was Raja. And it turned out that the man was Raja's cousin. Due to Rupi's vow that she would not let Raja date any girls from his village, the differences between the characters are brought on by this misunderstanding.
Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya Cast
Ksshitij Chaudhary is the director and Amberdeep Singh is the writer of the romantic comedy. The movie was funded by Ankit Vijan, Navdeep Narula, and Gurjit Singh.
Sargun Mehta and Gurnam Bhullar are seen in the lead roles in the movie. Since Surkhi Bindi, this is their second film together. Jass Bajwa, Jasmin Bajwa, Shivika Diwan, Hardip Gill, and Mintu Kapa also have important roles in the movie.
Talking about her favourite part of the film, Sargun says, “This film starts with romance but very soon leads to revenge which is the most fun part about this film.” Gurnam adds, “Love stories usually end with a happy ending but in this one, it starts with romance and ends with an attempt to seek revenge from an ex-lover.”
Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya OTT Release Date
The movie had its theatrical debut in July and is currently making its way to OTT. The film will get its ott release on September 23 on Zee5.
