Sneha Wagh Mourns Death Of Father Who Succumbed To Pneumonia And COVID-19

Television actor Sneha Wagh lost her father, Ganesh Wagh on Saturday.

Her father had been fighting against pneumonia and COVID-19 for a month. She took to Facebook to remember him and shared a few pictures of herself with her late father. “After battling a months battle with pneumonia & covid-19, I have lost my father…. shattering our hearts into million pieces, our biggest and strongest pillar is no more. Never felt this kind of pain before. No matter what you go through in life, losing a parent doesn’t get close to anything," she wrote on Facebook.

Sneha Wagh also shared a note about missing her father on Instagram. She described her father as a "good patient man, with a kind heart" who taught their family to be "confident and strong." She added that "he would also be a gentleman, and a hero" to their family. She mentioned that the family was going to miss him and that they never got an opportunity to say "a proper goodbye."

On the work front, Sneha Wagh was last seen in the TV show Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram. She started out her acting career at the age of 13 in the Marathi cinema. Gradually, Sneha Wagh got the opportunity to act in her first television show Adhuri Ek Kahani. She was best known for playing the role of Shweta in the TV show which used to air on Zee Marathi.

She then subsequently made her debut in the Hindi TV industry by starring in the Hindi TV show Jyoti and played the titular character.

A few months ago, Sneha Wagh spoke about being stereotyped into playing the role of a mother on the screen. She said that although it hurt her initially, she has now learnt to take it in her stride.
