Shweta Tiwari custody case: The actor won her son's custody against her husband after a judgement by court on Thursday said that mother's care is valuable to the child. Reacting on the same, the actor expressed relief and hoped that her husband Abhinav Kohli would stops 'harassing' her.
The case between the estranged couple had been going for two years now. Kohli had alleged that Shweta Tiwari abandoned their son Reyansh when she participated in Khatron K Khiladi reality show.
Talking to Bollywood Bubble, the actor alleged that her estranged husband would create 'ruckus' wherever she went. She said, "Hopefully, with this Court order, his untimely harassment against us will stop. Abhinav would follow me everywhere I went in the last two years, he would end up in Delhi or Pune or wherever I travelled with Reyansh for my shows and create ruckus."
She claimed that Kohli's actions were mentally exhausting for her and her son as he would try to prove her a bad mother. "Even when Reyansh would stick by me, he would try and manipulate things only to prove me a bad mother. He would not stop at that and would create a scene and end up at my doorstep anytime," she said.
She claimed that the court had earlier allowed Kohli to interact with his son for short periods but she allowed them to have longer calls. Even after that her husband alleged that she had kidnapped their son away from him, she said.
"Even during Khatron Ke Khiladi shoot, he tried to create yet another scene despite being fully aware of Reyansh’s stay,” Shweta added. The Bombay High Court has now allowed Abhinav Kohli to meet his son twice every week and interaction via video calls everyday.
Shweta Tiwari claimed that she had wanted Reyansh and his nanny to accompany her to South Africa during Khatron K Khiladi shoot but Kohli did not allow.
