Shraddha Arya Wedding Date: Here's When The Kundali Bhagya Actor Is Tying The Knot

Shraddha Arya wedding date is set for this week and the Kundali Bhagya actor's fans couldn't be more excited to virtually glimpse into the festivities. Her pre-wedding celebrations have kicked off, with the 34-year-old documenting her final days of singlehood on social media.

As per reports, she is set to marry a naval officer named Rahul. Taking to Instagram stories Sunday, Arya posted a snap of the to-be-groom's hand with a patch of mehendi on it that read her name. She did not, however, reveal his face.

In other videos, the actor is seen candidly shaking a leg with her friends, including television actor Heena Parmar.

The wedding is taking place in Delhi on November 16, according to various reports. However, Arya is yet to make any announcements from her end about the same.

Hindustan Times quoted a source saying Arya's partner was a "low-key guy" who preferred keeping a distance from showbiz. Their relationship was described as an "arranged marriage turned into love." Know more on Shraddha Arya here.

A video of Arya participating in rituals prior to the big day is doing rounds online. The actor is seen donning a pink outfit with a red dupatta. She sits against a wall decorated with flowers while relatives apply teeka to her. Another video, purportedly of her mehendi function, has emerged in which Arya is seen getting her hands coloured as her friends take selfies.

Who is Shraddha Arya? 

Arya hails from Delhi, from where she moved to Mumbai to pursue her education and acting career. Though the bulk of her recent work is for Hindi television, her screen appearances span industries, including Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. She has spent well over a decade working for television, with her most prominent roles being in shows Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai, Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki and presently, in Kundali Bhagya wherein she plays the lead character of Dr Preeta Karan Luthra.

As per reports, Arya was previously engaged to be married to one Jayant Ratti, who resided abroad, in 2015. It was an arranged marriage setup but the relationship broke off after hitting a "rough patch," as told by Arya.
