The South Korean television series Shooting Stars debuted on April 22 and stars Lee Sung-Kyung and Kim Young-Dae. In the romantic comedy series, top performer Gong Tae-sung is featured in a love story with Oh Han-Byul, the PR team chief of the management firm where he is signed.
Being a romantic comedy, Shooting Stars will centre on how a disliked relationship between a publicist and a celebrity develops into a romance. Both protagonists are equally important and have strong personalities in this story, which makes it stand out.
Shooting Stars Plot:
The plot centres around celebrities, people whom we hold in high regard and believe to have lived lives as remarkable as we imagine. However, the show is more on the people who represent celebrities, the people who keep the celebrity's image up to date while also having to clean up after them. Despite Oh Han Byul's commendable crisis response-ability, Gong Tae Sung eventually tests her limits. The two give rise to tasks together under Starforce Entertainment, one is an actor under the label and the other is in the managing team. Yoon Jong Hoon, Kim Yoon Hye, Lee Jung Shin, and Park So Jin are among the cast members of the K-drama.

Where to watch Shooting Stars:
The show consists of 16 episodes, each of which lasts one hour. They air on Fridays and Saturdays, giving the show a total of two episodes every week. It is shown on tvN, but it is also available to watch online on Viu, a Hong Kong-based video streaming company. However, each of these episodes is uploaded eight hours after it airs on television.
With high expectations for the never-before-seen pair on Shooting Stars, the show quickly became the object of criticism for a couple of its scenes. One scene was labelled racist and described as having a "white saviour complex," while the other was a sexual assault staged for laughs.

The series' fifth episode will air on Friday, May 6, 2022, while the sixth episode will air on Saturday, May 7.
