'She's Warm, Loving Caring': Kareena Kapoor Praises Sharmila Tagore In New Video

Kareena Kapoor Khan has recorded a video where she talks about her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore and the love and respect she feels for her.

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that she is a total family girl and that family comes before work for her. Kapoor also recorded a video for her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore. Kapoor can be seen talking about the love and respect she got from her mother-in-law. Kapoor also revealed that her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore hasn't met the newest member of the Pataudi family yet.

In the video, Kareena Kapoor Khan said that she gets nervous when people ask her to talk about the legendary actor Sharmila Tagore. She described Tagore as the most elegant and graceful woman to have walked on earth. She further added, "I'm lucky enough to know deeper than that which is that, she's warm, loving, she's caring."

Kareena Kapoor Khan mentioned mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore to be a support system for not just her own children but also her grandchildren and daughter-in-law. She added Sharmila Tagore is "somebody who has always been so inclusive of me, who made me feel part of this family."

Further, Kareena said that she has deep respect and regard for the veteran actor. As the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law duo hasn't been able to spend time together because of the pandemic, the Jab We Met actor Kareena Kapoor Khan says that she looks forward to it soon.

Sharmila Tagore is also known as Begum Ayesha Sultana Khan and is primarily known for her work in the Hindi and Bengali film industry. Apart from her career in acting, Tagore has also served as the chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). In the year 2013, Sharmila Tagore was awarded the third-highest civilian honour, the Padma Bhusan, for her contributions to the entertainment industry.
