Shehnaaz Gill Slams Trolls Shaming Her For Enjoying Life After Sidharth Shukla's Death

Shehnaaz Gill talked about being trolled for enjoying herself following the demise of late actor and rumoured boyfriend Sidharth Shukla. In a recent appearance on Shilpa Shetty's chat show, Shape of You, which focuses on mental health and physical fitness, Gill expressed her thoughts.

Gill was shown dancing at an engagement party in a video that surfaced on the internet more than three months after Shukla died of a heart attack. After Sidharth's death, the actor was mocked for dancing and laughing. She told Shetty that Shukla always wanted her to be happy and that people were trolling her for being happy.

Shehnaaz Gill trolled:

She stated that if she has the chance to laugh, she will laugh, and she will remain happy. She will celebrate Diwali if she is in the mood to do so, because happiness is vital to one's well-being. She said she tries to do it on her own as well. She then added, "Today is the first time I am talking about this and it's only because you are asking me to. Otherwise, I never talk about these things no matter who says what."

Gill said about her bond with the late actor, "Why should I tell anyone about my relationship with Sidharth? What was my connection with him, what was my relationship with him, I don't need to be answerable to anyone. How important he was to me, how important I was to him, that I know. So I don't have to give any explanation to anyone."

She went on to say, "Sidharth never told me to stop laughing. He always wanted to see me laughing, and I will always laugh. And I will continue my work because I want to move far ahead in my life."

Shehnaaz Gill is an actor, model, and singer who debuted in the 2015 music video Shiv Di Kitaab. With the Punjabi film Sat Shri Akaal England, she made her acting debut. The actor rose to prominence following her debut on the reality show Bigg Boss Season 13, where she came in second place.

"Bhula Dunga," "Keh Gayi Sorry," "Kurta Pajama," "Waada Hai," "Shona Shona," and "Fly" were among the music videos in which Gill appeared. Gill starred alongside Diljit Dosanjh in the Punjabi film Honsla Rakh in 2021. In addition, Gill released a single called "Tu Yaheen Hai," which is a musical homage to her late boyfriend, Shukla.

Actor Sidharth Shukla died of a heart attack in Mumbai's Cooper hospital on September 2. He was recognised for his parts in shows such as Balika Vadhu, Dil Se Dil Tak, and others.
