Shefali Jariwala On Divorce And Second Marriage: Shefali Jariwala revealed that she was judged for her divorce with former husband Harmeet Singh, and taunted as the Kaanta Laga girl.

Shefali Jariwala made her debut with the music video Kaanta Laga in 2002. In a recent interview she opened up about the comments and taunts she faced for starring in the song, getting a divorce and remarrying. Jariwala also revealed that she felt that she could never fall in love again after getting a divorce from her former husband the Meet Bros fame Harmeet Singh.

Jariwala married Singh in 2004 and the couple was divorced in 2009. She went on to marry Parag Tyagi in 2014. She recalled how the divorce affected her and said, "When that happens to you, you think it’s the end of the world, it is difficult, you think ‘what has happened?"

Further, Jariwala added that she could deal with it because of a very strong support system and said, "I had a very strong support system - my parents, my friends and everybody". She further added that she healed and was able to fall in love again. But she revealed how she faced judgement for getting a divorce and remarrying. Jariwala added that she used to receive unfavourable opinions if she shares ‘happy pictures’.

The Bigg Boss 13 star then said, "It’s a problem. Why are women subjected to such judgments and men are not? Why is it okay for men to get married ten times and women to not get married twice?"

Jariwala also faced judgement for her debut song in connection to her divorce and said, "Isi ne kuch kiya hoga, isi mein kuch hoga, yeh toh Kaanta Laga ladki hai, yeh bohot bold hai (They say, ‘She must be the one at fault, she is the Kaanta Laga girl, she is so bold’). "
