Shahid Kapoor Pens An Emotional Note To Sister Sanah Kapur On Her Wedding

Shahid Kapoor penned an emotional note for his sister Sanah Kapur on her wedding day. In his post, the actor congratulated the couple, Sanah who got married to Mayank Pahwa, son of actors Seema Pahwa and Manoj Pahwa on March 2. The ceremony was attended by their close friends and family.

Pictures from Sanah Kapur's wedding and pre-wedding celebrations have taken over the internet. Recently, actor Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram and shared a picture of himself with his sister Sanah. This was the first time he had shared a picture of the wedding.

In the picture, Shahid Kapoor can be seen holding his sister close, with both of them smiling at the camera. Sanah wore a pastel blue lehenga with a red blouse and heavily embroidered dupatta for her wedding, while her brother teamed a black kurta with a Nehru jacket in same colour.

Shahid Kapoor On Sanah Kapur Wedding

Kapoor had shared the picture on Instagram with the caption, "How time flies and little bitto is now a bride. All grown up all too soon my baby sister...an emotional beginning to a wonderful new chapter. Dearest @sanahkapur15 wishing you and Mayank sunshine and good vibes always..."

Shahid's wife Mira Kapoor also posted two pictures of the bride on social media. In the caption of her post, she wrote, "In a garden of love, there was magic. Congratulations darling Sanah and Mayank wishing you both the intensity love you brought alive today, every day."

The couple tied the knot at Mahabaleshwar on March 2, but reports suggest that the two have been in a relationship for quite some time now. Naseeruddin and Ratna Pathak Shah's son Vivaan, who was also present at the wedding, has been sharing pictures from various ceremonies that were held.

Mayank Pahwa is an actor, director and writer. He has worked in theatre on plays like Bhistmotsav, Impatient Seeker, Sharad Joshi Express and Happy Birthday, amongst others. Sanah is also an actor, who made her debut with father Pankaj Kapur in Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Shaandaar.
