Shaheer Sheikh in pavitra rishta 2: Pavitra Rishta 2.0 released on September 15 on Zee5. With this, the iconic jodi of Manav and Archana has also returned. While Ankita Lokhande is playing the role of Archana just like the original show, actor Shaheer Sheikh is seen essaying the character of Manav which was earlier played by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

In the beginning, Rajput's fans were upset with the news of Shaheer Sheikh playing the role of Manav as it was difficult for them to see someone else playing his part. However, his performance is now being liked by audience.
Ankita Lokhande opened up about the same in an exclusive interview with BollywoodLife and said that she is happy as their on-screen chemistry is visible. She called him a great soul and she could just connect to him easily." When I look into his eyes, I could see Manav in him. I could feel it that he is Manav. I was Archana who was searching for Manav and I could see that in him.", she said.
Talking about his performance, she said that he was nervous in the beginning. She pacified him by saying that they will start liking them as a couple once they see Manav and Archana together on screen. She also said that he stepped into the shoes of Manav so perfectly that Archana came to her automatically.
Shaheer became a proud father of a baby girl recently. Talking about this new phase of life, he said that everything has changed upside down. He knows that a little one is waiting for him at home and this thought is always at the back of his head. He also said that the feeling he experiences on seeing his bundle of joy is indescribable. "Whenever I look at her, I feel overwhelmed,” he says.
