The show's host, Karan Johar, has a close relationship with many of the big stars in Bollywood and has often called his friends and regularly roasted many of them, making them strike comments on other celebrities, which sparked huge tension. Additionally, celebrities have frequently made headlines for their controversial and outspoken remarks, and some controversies have even backfired on the show.

However, now that the seventh season of the show has begun and half of the season has already passed, the actors are much more careful about what they say and how much they reveal. Although host Karan Johar makes every effort to elicit shocking confessions from the actor, most of his attempts have failed this time.

Like in one of the Season 7 episodes, Kiara Advani said she is neither denying nor accepting relationships, and Johar said it is "so last season" to keep doing so. Finally, she declared that she and Sidharth Malhotra were "more than close friends." When asked if she was considering marriage, she replied that she was, but she wouldn't discuss her intentions on Koffee With Karan. However, when Malhotra was questioned about the same, he remained mum regarding the couple's relationship and made no mention of the wedding. In another episode, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor attracted attention when they revealed details about their ex-partners, but they held off on naming them until the very end.

Here, we dig into some celebrities' sexist remarks and confessions from previous seasons of Koffee with Karan that have sparked arguments, tension, and much more.

Sexist Comments In Koffee With Karan

- Hardik Pandya boasted about having many affairs on the show and discussed how honest he is with his parents, stating he once told them, "aaj mai kar ke aaya," after losing his virginity. When the show's host questioned him on why he didn't ask women in a club for their names, Pandya replied, "I enjoy watching and analysing how they move (women). I need to observe their movements because I'm a little on the black side."

- Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Malaika Arora appeared together, and Bhansali presented his incredibly bizarre conception of women. He remarked that men are meant to be less intriguing than women. They are the ones who seduce you by luring you in with their attractiveness.

-In response to Karan Johar's question, Sanjay Dutt came very close to dissing Kangana Ranaut. If you woke up one morning as Kangana Ranaut, what would you do? Sanjay Dutt responded, "Wear a Salwar-Kameez."

- Tusshar Kapoor was asked during the rapid-fire part of the chat show which actor he thinks of when he hears the word "Botox." He responded Preity Zinta, which left the actor clearly unhappy. Tusshar later apologised to Zinta for his remarks.
