Seetimaarr release date was announced along with its trailer on August 31. Actor Ram Pothineni took to his official Twitter account to share the trailer of the film and wrote, “@YoursGopichand & @tamannaahspeaks look Fantastic! A BIG Screen experience for sure!” Here are ten things you should know.

The trailer also revealed that the film will portray Tamannaah Bhatia and Gopichand in the lead roles.
Here are nine other things to know:
- The sports drama is directed by Sampath Nandi.
- Bhatia and Gopichand played the role of Kababbi game coaches in the movie. The film trailer was evident of the female empowerment in sports.
- Reportedly, the film also makes a commentary on the social barriers faced by athletes.
- The film will be produced under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen by Srinibasaa Chitturi.
- Apart from Bhatia and Gopichand, the film also stars Bhumika Chawla, Digangana Suryavanshi, Posani Krishna Murali, Rahman, Rao Ramesh, Ankur Singh, Tarun Arora and Rohit Pathak in significant roles.
- While the cinematography of the film has been handled by Soundar Rajan, Seetimaarr’s music has been composed by Mani Sharma.
- The trailer also revealed action scenes with stunt coordinators such as Venkat, Real Satish, Stunt Shiva and Stunt Jashva.
- Lead actor Gopichand will appear in the role of Karthik Subramaniyam, Bhatia will play the role of Jwala Redyy while Suryavanshi will appear as a TV journalist.
- The initial release of the film was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic last year. The next release was planned for April 2, 2021, however, was postponed again.
- Now, it is touted to release on September 10, 2021, coinciding with the festival of Vinayaka Chaviti.

Bhatia is currently awaiting other releases including Maestro, F3, Plan A Plan B, and Gurthunda Seethakalam. The trailer of Maestro was released last week and is supposed to release in September this year.
