Sayyeshaa Saigal Writes Heart-Warming Note For Late Granduncle Dilip Kumar

Sayyeshaa Saigal shared a throwback, black and white picture with late Dilip Kumar while recollecting the memories with her granduncle. The actor can be seen dancing with her in the picture. The late veteran actor passed away Wednesday morning.

After the demise of the 98-year-old actor, Sayyeshaa Saigal shared a note for her granduncle. The note says that "I’m blessed to have spent so much of my childhood with the legend who the world knows as #DilipKumar For me he will always remain my warm-hearted Phuponana, with whom I sang and danced, learned so much from and loved to bits! It’s an end of an era! #RIP."

The note was posted in the form of a caption, along with a picture on Instagram of Saigal with the late veteran actor in which he is dressed in a black and white suit while she is wearing a white dress and both can be seen dancing in it. Sayyeshaa Saigal is the grandniece of Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar and the daughter of actors Shaheen Banu and Sumeet Saigal.

Late actor, Dilip Kumar passed away at a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday. The Hindi Cinema icon was admitted to a hospital last month as he faced health issues. The veteran actor has been facing episodes of bad health conditions for the past few years and had been visiting the hospital often.

The veteran actor left the film fraternity mourning with his huge body of work behind, for future filmmakers and actors to learn from. The actor was laid to rest with full state honours at Juhu Qabarastan in Mumbai.

The late actor was popularly known as the 'Tragedy King' of Bollywood, as he was known for experimenting with his roles and was a method actor. In a career lasting more than five decades, the actor was part of comedies, dramas, romance, and more.

Sayyeshaa Saigal made her acting debut in the Telugu film industry with Akhil Akkineni in 2015 and made her debut in Bollywood with Ajay Devgn's Shivaay in 2016
