Bollywood actor Sanjana Sanghi has launched a mental health campaign titled 'Here to Hear.' Through this campaign, Sanghi aims to give people free sessions with trained psychologists and qualified listeners.
"There was never a rule book handed to any of us, on how to cope with a catastrophic pandemic like we are presently facing. And in the absence of that rule book, amidst such a grave crisis that is ridden with loss of life and uncertainty - we can easily find ourselves consumed with all kinds of worrying thoughts, fears, anxieties, and confusion," Sanjana Sanghi posted on Instagram.
She then also added that she was happy to see people helping each other during tough times. She also said that it is time to start de-stigmatising seeking help for mental health issues, as it is extremely crucial. Sanjana Sanghi confirmed that the programme is open for everyone, and is free of cost.
The platform will provide help in the form of counselling, therapies via audio and text support sessions. Many of her fans have praised her for this initiative during these tough times.
Earlier, the actor spoke about how the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the mental health of many people. She took to Instagram to tell everyone that "our mind is a very tricky place." She said that we tend to make ourselves guilty for something during such times.
