Everyone now has a comfortable place to relax and watch their favourite movie or television show thanks to OTT. When it comes to movies with a same-sex focus, it is thought to be more interesting. When it comes to same-sex female-based movies or shows, more is happening there.
The conversation about the LGBTQIA+ community is slowly but steadily increasing through films in Bollywood and one step ahead has been the OTT platforms. Let's discuss some OTT content on same-sex relationships based on women in Hindi that have genuinely moved audiences.
Four Female Same Sex Love Stories On OTT
The Married Woman
A web series from Ekta Kapoor's ALT Balaji has been created, and this one is about a female same-sex couple. A Married Woman, which stars Monica Dogra and Ridhi Dogra in the key parts, is based on a Manju Kapur novel of the same name. It has already started to enrage online users. The protagonist of the book on which A Married Woman is based feels unsatisfied with her ostensibly pleasant life. She is a typical middle-class Delhi woman. She starts an extramarital relationship with a younger lady who is the widow of a political activist, putting her entire life, including her family and so-called honour, in danger.
Ajeeb Daastaans
Not one but two of the stories in the anthology Ajeeb Daastaans on Netflix India centre on same-sex relationships. In Neeraj Ghyawan's Geel Pucchi. Tension exists between Bharti Mandal and Priya Sharma, who are both played by Konkona Sen Sharma and Aditi Rao Hydari, everyone cheers for the companionship they share. The narrative only starts to get intriguing when Bharti begins to have unrequited feelings for Priya. The tone for this story has also been created appropriately by the tonality-skilled director. Primary characters in the anthology included Aditi Rao Hydari, Konkana Sen Sharma, Shefali Shah, Manav Kaul, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Abhishek Banerjee. It is an interesting watch.

On the screen, the problems, love, and passion were all skillfully portrayed. Bani J, Kirti Kulhari, Sayani Gupta, and Maanvi Gagroo are the series' main actors.
Maja Ma
In our movies, Ma is the picture of perfection and holiness. This mother must decide whether to follow her convictions or the dictates of society because her beloved son wants to marry the lady of her choosing. The stunning Madhuri Dixit is the focal point of the plot in Anand Tiwari's Maja Ma, which is currently available on Amazon Prime Video and initially approaches a delicate issue in a lighthearted manner. It unites Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari, winning partners of Bandish Bandits and producers of Maja Ma, in a piece by Sumit Batheja.
