Samantha Ruth Prabhu turns 35 today. The Indian actor who mainly works in Telugu and Tamil film industries is also a recipient of several awards, including four Filmfare Awards South, six South Indian International Movie Awards and two Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards.

• She was married to popular actor Naga Chaitanya. In an interview, she said that her parents were happy with her decision because she was marrying her best friend. She also revealed that her parents led a very simple life and aren't aware that she is a big actress in South Indian cinema.
• The two later confirmed their separation in 2021. A public post says they have decided to ‘part ways as husband and wife to pursue own paths’. In a social media announcement, Samantha mentioned she and her husband had had the good fortune of a decade-long friendship.

• The duo worked in movies such as Manam, Ye Maaya Chesave and Autonagar Surya. They tied the knot in 2017 and hosted two weddings – one in accordance with South India rituals preceded by a Christian wedding.
• Neelima Guna, the producer of Shaakuntalam, said in an interview that she was keen to start a family and embrace motherhood too.

Her acting career commenced in 2010. She has since then built a name for herself in the industry with super hit films and many memorable performances. Some of her best roles are in movies Ye Maaya Chesave, Eega, Manam, Oh! Baby, Rangasthalam among others.
