Samantha Prabhu Starrer Yashoda's Theatre Release Announced, Know More Here

Yashoda release date has been much awaited ever since the film was announced last year. The thriller film is headlined by Samantha Prabhu. It is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, under the production banner of Sridevi Movies. It is a new age author-backed drama which has been directed by the famous duo Hari and Harish.

The shooting for the film began in Hyderabad in December 2021 and is scheduled to release in five Indian languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The producer for the film has a history of box office hit cinema-like Sammohanam, Mitrudu, and Aditya 369, amongst others.

At an event, Prasad had said that the movie was conceived while keeping in mind a larger audience base and somewhat in accordance with Samantha's action-packed character for the successful series The Family Man Season 2, which also had Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani, amongst others in a pivotal roles. In that show, Samantha had played the role of a Sri Lankan rebel named Rajji. For the show, she had received the Best Actor (Series) Award at the Indian Film Festival in Melbourne last year.

Samantha Prabhu's fans are excited about her upcoming endeavours including Yashoda. The film also includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, and Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, amongst others. The music for the film has been made by Mainsharma and the dialogues by Pulagam Chinnarayana and Dr Challa Bhagyalaxmi.

Yashoda Release Date

The announcement was made by producer Prasad, who wrote, "August 12th it is!! Our #Yashoda aka @Samanthaprabhu2 is all set to give thrills n chills in theatres. A @krishnasivalenk's production."

Prasad also said, "Samantha has given a phenomenal performance not just in acting but also in fight sequences of 'Yashoda'. We're simultaneously releasing the movie in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on August 12. Shoot will be wrapped up by May end. This action thriller has a plot that can pull national-level audiences to theatres. Finishing a major schedule in a massive set recently, we're heading to another shoot schedule today in Kodaikanal."
