Bollywood actor Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma had tested positive for COVID-19 and later recovered. She shared on social media.
Salman Khan had confirmed the same during a press conference for his upcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. " My sister Arpita has tested positive for the virus. The second wave of the coronavirus is very dangerous," he said.
Arpita Khan in her social media post wrote, " I tested positive in the beginning of the month of April 2021 however I was asymptomatic. I followed all the guidelines and protocols and thankfully with the grace of God I have fully recovered and have been well since. "
Earlier, Salman Khan had urged his fans to 'be safe' during the COVID-19 pandemic. While tweeting about the release of his latest song Zoom Zoom, he told his fans that this wasn't the time for 'zoom, zoom'.

Besides this, Salman Khan supported an 18-year-old boy financially after his father passed away due to COVID-19. He provided him with ration, educational equipment, and assured him that he would always there to provide him with any help, according to reports.
The actor has also been active in providing food, oxygen cylinders, medical equipment, and oxygen cylinders to frontline workers such as BMC workers, doctors, police personnel, etc.
