The world’s tallest woman Rumeysa Gelgi flew on an aeroplane for the first time in her life. Turkish Airlines removed six economy seats to make room for her.

Gelgi features in the Guinness Book of World Records for her 7-foot height. The 25-year-old usually gets around using a wheelchair as she has Weaver syndrome, a rare genetic disorder causing rapid growth.
She took a 13-hour flight on Turkey’s national carrier from Istanbul, Turkey to San Francisco, United States using Turkish Airlines. Gelgi shared her experience on social media.
