RRR To Make Its OTT Debut Soon, Know When And Where To Watch

RRR is an epic action-drama film directed by SS Rajamouli and released in theatres, starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr (Jr. NTR), Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt. Following its theatrical premiere on March 24th, this year, the film had a remarkable box office run. The film is now being prepared for OTT distribution.

RRR was first announced in March 2018 and, due to the delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic the production of the film ended only in August 2021. The movie was shot mostly in India, with a few scenes in Ukraine and Bulgaria. It was finally released in March 2022, and from all around the world, the film was praised for its excellent performances, grand cinematic scope, action, and drama.

The film was produced on a massive scale by DVV Danayya. Within 16 days of its international release, RRR had surpassed the Rs 1,000 crore mark and went on to become the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

RRR Cast

The film is a fictional period drama about Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two Indian liberation fighters. Jr. NTR portrays Komaram Bheem/Akthar, a Gond tribal leader from Telangana who fought the Nizam of Hyderabad for the independence of Hyderabad.

Ram Charan plays Alluri Sitarama Raju, an Andhra Pradesh rebel who launched a violent battle against the British Raj. In the film, Alia Bhatt plays Sita, Ram Charan's love interest.

In supporting roles, the film also features Ajay Devgn as Raju's father, Shriya Saran as Rama Raju's mother and Olivia Morris as Bheem's love interest. For the film, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR received universal acclaim and accolades from the audience and critics.

RRR OTT Release Date

The OTT platform announcing the online premiere wrote, "Fire and Water coming together as a FORCE, a never-before experience right to your house". The film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada and will premiere on Zee 5 on May 20. The release of the Hindi version has not been announced yet.
