Neetu Kapoor And Daughter Riddhima Share Old Photos On Rishi Kapoor's Death Anniversary

Rishi Kapoor death anniversary: Neetu Kapoor on Friday took to Instagram to post a monochrome picture of herself with her late husband, Rishi Kapoor, from their younger days.

“All of last year has been of grief and sadness around the world," Neetu Kapoor wrote remembering her loss, adding, "for us maybe more as we lost him".

With this emotional note, she said, "Not a day has gone by when we have not discussed or reminisced him as he was an extension of our existence .. sometimes his wise advice:: his wise cracks : his anecdotes !!”

Along with the throwback photo, the Amar Akbar Anthony actor continued, "We have celebrated him all year with a smile on the lips as he will stay in our hearts forever." She went on to say that she has accepted that “life will never be the same without him” but she will move on.

Neetu and Rishi Kapoor were last seen together in the film Besharam in 2013. Rishi Kapoor died on April 30 last year after a two-year-long battle with cancer. He was 67.

Daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, too, remembered father Rishi Kapoor in an emotional note on his first death anniversary. She shared a collage of throwback photos with the late actor and wrote how much she misses him and his wise “anecdotes”.

In her note, Riddhima expressed, “If only i could hear you call me mushk once more …” She also quoted the poet Dorothy Mae Cavendish and added, “‘Until we meet again we think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.’– Dorothy Mae Cavendish.”

Earlier, Riddhima had posted a picture of herself with brother Ranbir Kapoor from the late actor’s prayer meet in March. Reminiscing her late husband with a throwback video during their trip to New York City two years back, Neetu had shared an Instagram post writing, “Since today is Rishiji’s 11 month prayer meet felt like sharing some moments from our last trip to NYC.”
