Latest Update: Rifa Mehnu's husband Mehnaz was taken into custody. She had died by suicide and her husband was booked under the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for marrying his late wife when she was a minor.

The vlogger and Instagram influencer Rifa Mehnu was found dead on March 1, 2022. She was living in the United Arab Emirates at the time of her death. Reportedly, Mehnu was born in Kozhikode, Kerala. The couple met over Instagram and got married three years ago.

Mehnu's last Instagram post was just three days before she died. She and her husband had reportedly visited the Kozhikode Star Restaurant in the UAE, and she had posted a video about it on her profile. Meanwhile, the most recent post on her husband Mehnaz Mehnu's profile is from a day ago and shows him standing near the Burj Khalifa. Fans are expressing condolence in the comments area of both the influencer's and her husband's posts.

Update: On May 7, Rifa Mehnu's body was exhumed from the cemetery in Thiruvananthapuram for conducting autopsy. The directive for the autopsy of the body was given by  Kozhikode Revenue Divisional Officer. Mehnu's body was exhumed by a team of forensic experts led by local police officers.

Rifa was a well-known social media influencer and YouTuber. She used to vlog about her personal life and trips. She married Mehnaz Mehnu and had a child with her. Her husband is also a social media influencer. Both of them had previously worked as social media content creators.

Rifa Mehnu has about 300,000 Instagram followers from all around the world. Her Instagram bio reads: "Hijab-Model And Influencer." She used to post hijab outfits and personal updates on her Instagram account. She has nearly 800 Instagram posts. Her YouTube channel has around 30,000 subscribers. She has a handful of YouTube channels linked to her. She and her husband were also featured in a few of the albums.

Rifa Mehnu Death Cause:

The circumstances surrounding Mehnu's death are unknown. While her death was confirmed by her fellow content makers, the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident have yet to be revealed, according to reports. Mehnu's body was found at her house in Dubai's Al Jafiliya area. According to initial reports, she allegedly ended her life, but there has been no official confirmation of this.

Mehnu was living in the United Arab Emirates at the time, given the fact that she was not a citizen of the country. She was born in India. Mehnu was born on January 10, 2002, in Kozhikode, Kerala, India, according to numerous reports. She and her husband both followed Islam. She received her education at Pavandoor Higher Secondary School.

A social worker in India told Khaleej Times that Dubai police had yet to reveal forensic reports in Mehnu's death case. On Wednesday, her body was scheduled to be returned to Kerala.
