Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal's wedding festivities have kicked off with Mehndi and Sangeet ceremonies. The sangeet ceremony was held Thursday night, while the mehndi ceremony was held in the evening.

Actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are getting hitched soon. Prior to the wedding, Chadha posted a photo of her mehendi on her Instagram account on Thursday. She did not, however, reveal her look. She showed a close-up of her mehendi, which included the letters 'A and R' in the middle as their wedding logo. She also wore mehendi on her feet and had an evil-eye design done on her fingernails. In honour of her beloved cat, Kamli, she also incorporated a quirky cat face into her mehendi. The actor additionally wore turquoise bangles.

The sangeet ceremony for stars Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal took place on Thursday night. The couple danced to the song Amber Sariya from their movie Fukrey, according to an insider. The unexpected moment of the event was when Fazal danced to Main Hu Khalnayak and dedicated it to actor Sanjay Dutt. To counter Fazal's dance performance, Chadha's side of the family sang their childhood song, The Chadha's Gang, and she joined in as well.

On Friday, Chadha posted photos of Ali Fazal during their photoshoot ahead of their wedding on her Instagram account. She donned a pink floral lehenga and a matching choker. While Fazal was dressed in a white stole and kurta pyjama. One of the images shows Chadha gazing affectionately into Fazal's eyes. He also held Chadha's hands while striking a romantic pose for the camera, looking back into her eyes.

After dating for several years, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal will wed on October 6 in a grand ceremony. They are reportedly having a reception in Mumbai on October 7. In 2012, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal first bumped into each other on the Fukrey set. They will reunite on-screen in the third instalment of the series, Fukrey 3. After dating for seven years, the couple announced their engagement in 2019.
