Richa Chadha And Ali Fazal Fly To Delhi For Wedding Festivities

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal will soon be tying the knot and for the pre-wedding functions, the couple departed for New Delhi on September 28 and was clicked at the airport. The wedding will take place in Delhi followed by a grand reception in Mumbai.

After postponing it for 2 years because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal will finally be getting married. The wedding and the pre-wedding festivities will take place in New Delhi while a grand reception will be hosted by the couple at The Grand Eastern Home in Mumbai. The Mumbai venue was actually a mill which was converted into a luxurious hotel 176 years ago. Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal started dating in 2012 after meeting on the set of their film Fukrey. In 2019, Ali Fazal proposed to Richa Chadha on their vacation in the Maldives.

Richa Chadha Ali Fazal Wedding Functions Begin

The couple arrived at the airport on September 28 to reportedly fly to Delhi where the wedding festivities will begin on September 29. While Richa Chadha donned a yellow Anarkali kurta with open hair and black shades, Ali Fazal was seen wearing off-white pants paired with a white T-shirt and a navy blue blazer. Ali Fazal also had shades and a cap on. The couple stopped to pose for the paparazzi before entering the airport to board their flight.

The wedding festivities will take place from September 29 to October 1 and the wedding will happen on October 3. The couple will then fly back to Mumbai to host a grand reception for their celebrity friends on October 4. The couple reportedly invited actors Gerard Butler, Judi Dench and a few production members from Ali Fazal's international project along with close relatives and family for the intimate Delhi wedding.

The venues in Delhi will reportedly have nature-inspired decor. The sangeet will be held at Richa Chadha's close friend's bungalow which holds memories of her childhood. There will be around 50-60 non-celebrity guests and the food will include all of Richa Chadha's favourite dishes from Delhi. While Ali Fazal will be wearing designers Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and Shantanu and Nikhil for the functions in Delhi, Richa Chadha will wear Rahul Mishra and Kresha Bajaj for sangeet and cocktail respectively.
