The actor was visiting Satpura Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh and posted a video of her on the safari, in close proximity to the tiger.

The Tiger Reserve Management ordered an enquiry, and according to the authorities, if a person gets too close to the tiger, it gets distracted and accidents can take place.

In the video, camera shutters can be heard and a tiger is seen growling at them. The driver and the officials on duty will also be questioned and served notice.

Deputy Director of the Satpura Tiger Reserve Sandeep Pheloj confirmed that Tandon paid a visit to the reserve and that the matter would be probed.

He added that a separate inquiry will be conducted into the guide and driver who accompanied Tandon on tour. The viral video of the video posted by Tandon on her social media has now been deleted.

Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) of Forest Dheeraj Singh Chouhan said that he started a probe into the alleged incident.

Chouhan said that during Tandon’s visit to the reserve on November 22, her vehicle allegedly reached near a tiger.

Tandon shared the pictures of her visit to the Satpura Tiger Reserve on her social media. She also shared pictures of tigers which she clicked during her reserve visit.

Tandon said, “We were on the tourism path, which mostly these tigers cross. And Katy the tigress in this video as well, is habituated to coming close to vehicles and snarling.”

Earlier this month, authorities at Van Vihar National Park started an investigation after a tweet by Tandon. She wrote, “Tourists (ruffians) pelting stones at the tiger in closures… No security for the tiger. Humiliation they are subjected to”.

In response, the park authorities said they were investigating the incident.
