Raveena Tandon Returns To Hindi Cinema With This New Film

Raveena Tandon, who recently played antagonist role in the film KGF Chapter 2, is all set to make her return to Hindi cinema with a new film. The makers of the film announced that the film is titled Patna Shukla and it features Raveena Tandon in a lead role.

Raveena Tandon recently played the role of Prime Minister in KGF Chapter 2, and will soon grace the screen once again with her new Hindi feature film. The production of the film will start in November this year. The actor recently won the best actor female award at the 2022 OTT Play Awards for her role in Netflix's Aranyak.

Raveena Tandon Lead in Patna Shukla

Produced by actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, Patna Shukla is based on the social drama genre. Khan, who has earlier produced the Dabangg series, announced the new film on social media. The film is directed by Vivek Budakoti, who according to Khan, decided to bring the script to him first. Based on a social issue, the film explores a different theme and with Raveena Tandon on board, the makers are looking forward to bringing out a great story on screen. Khan is confident that the film will keep the audience engaged throughout and do justice to Raveena Tandon's talent. He said, "The film is an engaging social drama and will have several elements to keep the audience thoroughly entertained. Whoever we have narrated the script to the reaction has been extremely positive - right from the actors to the technicians."

The film features an ensemble cast including actors Satish Kaushik, Manav Vij, Anushka Kaushik, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Jatin Goswami. Raveena Tandon was recently spotted having a meeting with all the actors of the film over brunch in Mumbai.

Tandon, who was highly appreciated for her role as an assertive Prime Minster in KGF Chapter 2, gained applause for her role as a police officer in the Netflix series Aranyak which first streamed in 2021. Tandon has acted in innumerable projects and has played diverse roles across films and series.

With this latest announcement, she is surely set to make a terrific and meaningful entry into Bollywood. While Arbaaz Khan revealed that the film will go on floors in November, the date of release is yet to be announced.
