Ram Charan's Wife Upasana Shares Why They Did Not Have Children

Ram Charan and Upasana don't require an introduction because of their fan following. First introduced by a mutual friend, the two instantly fell in love. The couple recently celebrated ten years of marriage. No matter how adorable the couple may appear to be, Upasana has been the subject of occasional pregnancy rumours. She has, nonetheless, made it clear where she stands.

The fact that the Upasana and Ram Charan have not had children has been discussed a number of times in the industry. The curiosity and judgment on the same is also high.

Ram Charan's wife Upasana On Not Having Children

Ram Charan's spouse Upasana Kamineni Konidela spoke with Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev during the 17th ATA Convention. He and Upasana had a discussion about having children and the three 'R's. RRR stands for relationship, reproduction, and role in life. She also talked about her ten-year long marriage to Ram Charan.

Earlier, in an interview, Upasana stated: “Getting pregnant after marriage is my matter. We thought we don’t want kids now. On the other hand, I also have some fears about pregnancy. I am losing weight now. We also have clarity about when to have children."

In another interview with News18, Upasana has shared, “I am petrified to be a mom, there’s never a right time. But my friends have been great examples and now I have done my bit of research, so maybe it will be some time soon. It’s nice that there is so much speculation about our child even before he/she is conceived, let alone born! Friends have called me asking to let them know when I am pregnant so they can launch a birthing line for us."

In her Instagram post, Upasana captioned pictures of her interaction with Sadhguru, “An absolute honour to be in conversation with the Mystic. Sadhguru was amazing as usual, every topic made so much sense. Truly practical considering the circumstances the world is facing today. A must-watch! Sadhguru - Thatha’s not letting me accept your award.”
